The Beer Goddess, a.k.a. Lisa Morrison, is a Portland-based beer writer, author, and host of Beer O’Clock, a radio program on Newsradio 101 FM KXL. Each week, Beer O’Clock connects beer lovers in Beervana (Portland, Ore.) and around the world to the best in great beer through exclusive interviews, brews news, event listings, and tasting notes and a lot more. Unlike most radio programs, Morrison personally buys the air time for Beer O’Clock and uses sponsorship to pay for it. Sponsors include The Horse Brass Pub, F.H. Steinbart’s, Belmont Station and Lompoc Brewing.

Lisa is also the author of Craft Beers of the Pacific Northwest, the first book in more than a decade that brings beer lovers the very best insider information on the best places to source Northwest beer. With 18 mapped-out pub crawls, listings, labels, photos and details on more than 115 different places to have a great beer, it’s the quintessential guide to Oregon, Washington and British Columbia beer. “Lisa Morrison’s Craft Beers of the Pacific Northwest is the kind of book that will have a permanent spot in the front seat of my car,” says Sonja Groset of Seattle Weekly.

Lisa is a columnist and contributor to Beer Advocate, Celebrator Beer News, All About Beer, Beer Connoisseur, Northwest Brewing News and Rate Beer’s blog, The Hop Press. In 2004 she was the first woman (and among the first four writers) to receive the National Beer Journalism Award.
